What is New Media

New media is a vehicle that makes the world smaller. Although, people can still make international calls on the their phones ,foreign rates can get to be expensive and that would limit the average person's ability to keep in contact with love one's. However, the internet has made it more possible for people to keep in contact like never before, with just access to computer and an internet connection, you can send an e-mail a cross the world for free. As a result, people are not limited to just e-mail's and people that they know, they can blog, create wiki's, and utilize social networking sites like myspace to create their personal expression and expose it to the world while collaborating with others.
